HOW IT WORKS

The patient is responsible for full payment. If you have out of network benefits for PT, you'll receive an itemized superbill with the necessary documentation to submit to your insurance carrier for reimbursement. Note: the amount of reimbursement is up to your insurance benefits and carrier, I am not responsible for the amount.

WHY OUT OF NETWORK

 

Simple, it's all about you and facilitating healing.  It is a paradigm shift away from insurance company influenced treatments back to patient and therapist (yes, we're a team) directed care.  It means I can implement a holistic treatment approach vs "a single body part."  It allows for a quiet, uninterrupted environment.

WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE OUT OF NETWORK BENEFITS

You're saving yourself time and money. And who doesn't want more time and money!

Think of it this way. You go to a typical PT facility because that accepts your insurance. You may spend time waiting to be seen or warming up independently. Average time spent with your therapist is 15 min. This is usually shared time while your PT oversees multiple patients at once. Typical scheduling is 2-3x/week. You pay your co-pay (average $30) each visit, you drive back and forth, maybe you take time off work or hire a babysitter.

You're seen at your appointment time. You spend 45 - 60 min with me for treatment. You have the entire session to get your concerns answered and ensure you're doing everything correctly. I commit the hour to you, it's your session and I'm here to help you feel good.  Patients typically schedule 1x/week or every other week. 

 

You don't need a ton of sessions for the best outcome; you need quality sessions.
